The celebrations are officially underway for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner as the newlyweds kicked off their lavish £1.5 million wedding weekend in Sicily with a glamorous welcome party attended by some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.
Held at the magnificent Palazzo Valguarnera Gangi in Palermo, the pre-wedding cocktail reception brought together a host of celebrity guests, including Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, George Daniel and actor Joe Alwyn.

As guests arrived at the candlelit venue, all eyes were on Dua, who looked breathtaking in a bridal-white Bottega Veneta gown. The singer, 30, dazzled in the backless fringed dress, pairing it with an elegant Bottega Anidamo clutch and dazzling Bulgari jewellery.
Her husband, actor Callum Turner, 36, appeared completely captivated by his bride throughout the evening. Witnesses watched as he gazed lovingly at Dua before leaning in for a tender kiss, creating one of the most romantic moments of the night.
The couple looked happier than ever as they mingled with guests, moving from table to table while enjoying the intimate atmosphere of the historic palace. At one point, Dua was spotted touching up her lip gloss before returning to greet friends and family.

As the celebrations continued, guests danced the night away to classic hits including Chic’s iconic 1978 anthem Le Freak and Kylie Minogue’s Spinning Around. The festive atmosphere only grew stronger as the Sicilian sunset provided a stunning backdrop for the evening.
Later in the night, waiters served traditional Margherita pizzas on silver trays, giving guests a taste of authentic Italian hospitality. Moments afterward, Dua appeared on one of the palace balconies to loud cheers and applause from those gathered below.

The singer and her new husband were also believed to be taking official wedding photographs inside the venue’s famous ballroom, adding another memorable chapter to their spectacular wedding celebrations.
Among the high-profile attendees was Charli XCX, who arrived with her husband George Daniel. However, eagle-eyed guests noticed an unexpected moment when Charli found herself standing only a short distance away from actor Joe Alwyn, adding a touch of intrigue to the glamorous evening.
With several more days of celebrations still ahead, Dua and Callum’s Sicilian wedding is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year.
