“HELL WILL FREEZE OVER!” Rebekah Vardy Reignites Wagatha War As She Refuses To Apologise To Coleen Rooney — Despite £1.2M Court Defeat

Rebekah Vardy has sensationally reopened the infamous Wagatha Christie feud by declaring that “hell will freeze over” before she ever apologises to former friend Coleen Rooney.

The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy made the explosive remarks in her new ITV reality series The Vardys, insisting she still believes the judge in the bombshell libel case got it wrong — despite being ordered to pay around £1.2million in legal fees.

Speaking candidly on the show, the 44-year-old said she was “never, ever” going to apologise for something she insists she did not do.

Rebekah said: “I’m never going to apologise for something I didn’t do. Hell will freeze over before I do that.”

The TV personality also claimed she has become exhausted by the years-long public fallout surrounding the scandal, which first erupted in 2019 after Coleen Rooney publicly accused her Instagram account of leaking private stories to the press.

Becky insisted the feud is now “done” and said she has no interest in carrying the drama into the future.

She explained: “It’s over, it’s done, I’m not going to carry on living in the past. I’m so f***ing bored of it.”

Despite losing the case, Rebekah revealed she still strongly disagrees with the outcome of the High Court ruling.

She said: “I’m living with the judgment the judge made but, still to this day, I believe she was wrong.”

The mother-of-five also claimed she holds no bitterness towards Coleen, even though the scandal dramatically damaged her public image and sparked years of headlines about the so-called “Wag War”.

Rebekah said: “I don’t have any negative feelings towards her whatsoever. If I ever saw her or bumped into her, people would assume it’d be handbags at dawn. But my peace is too important.”

She then bluntly admitted she does not care what Coleen thinks about her anymore.

Meanwhile, husband Jamie Vardy broke his silence on the emotional toll the scandal had on their family, insisting his wife had been unfairly portrayed as a villain.

The former Leicester City striker said: “People thinking Bex was a villain, it’s just a load of s***. Everyone close to her knows the truth.”

Jamie also admitted it was heartbreaking watching his wife suffer throughout the legal nightmare.

He said: “It was really tough seeing Bex in pain with all the crap coming her way. As a husband, the only thing you can do is be there for her.”

The explosive comments come as ITV prepares to launch The Vardys, which follows the couple’s family life and Jamie’s move to Italian side Cremonese after leaving Leicester City.

The series also shows a lighter side to the couple’s relationship, including playful arguments, parenting chaos and Rebekah joking that although they already have five children, “if you include Jamie, we have six.”
