Katie Price has dramatically insisted her husband Lee Andrews is still missing — despite his father publicly claiming the businessman has actually been arrested in Dubai.
The former glamour model, 48, has spent more than a week desperately searching for Lee after he mysteriously vanished earlier this month, with Katie previously claiming he had sent terrifying messages suggesting he had been kidnapped.
But the saga took another explosive twist when Lee’s father Pete broke his silence from the UAE and claimed: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest.”
Pete added that he did not know what charges Lee was facing or exactly where he was being held, but insisted his son would contact him later that day. He also revealed Lee was not staying at his home in Dubai despite widespread speculation.
According to reports, Dubai Police chief Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi allegedly told the Daily Mail: “There are many cases against him.”
Yet Katie quickly shut down the arrest claims and branded them “fake news” in a furious social media statement. Posting on Instagram, she wrote: “Lee is still missing. Me and his family know what’s going on and working with the authorities involved.”
The shocking contradiction has only deepened the mystery surrounding Lee’s disappearance, with fans left confused over who is telling the truth.
Adding even more drama to the bizarre saga, Lee’s Instagram account sparked fresh speculation after eagle-eyed followers noticed he suddenly appeared to follow another woman while supposedly missing. Within 24 hours, however, the account returned to following just one person — Katie herself.
New claims later emerged suggesting the mystery woman may have blocked Lee’s account, although nothing has been confirmed.
Meanwhile, Katie’s inner circle are said to be deeply worried about the future of the marriage after Lee famously failed to appear on Good Morning Britain earlier this week.
A source close to Katie reportedly said: “Lee has finally shown his true colours with the ITV interview. This is the ultimate letdown.”
The insider added: “She feels incredibly let down and super embarrassed. She’s at a really low point.”
Despite the mounting chaos, Katie has continued publicly pleading for answers and recently shared emotional social media posts alongside a heartfelt rendition of the song Get Here, dedicated to her missing husband.
The star’s celebrity friends, including Alison Hammond, rushed to show support as the drama surrounding Lee’s whereabouts continues to spiral.
