Tess Daly And Vernon Kay’s ‘No Bad Blood’ Festival Display Leaves Fans Stunned As Exes Dance Together Days After Ending 22-Year Marriage

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay appear determined to show there is no bad blood between them after their shock split, as the former couple were seen enjoying a relaxed weekend together at a festival.

Just days after confirming the end of their 22-year marriage, the pair put on a friendly display at Pub in the Park, where they mingled with friends, chatted to fans and danced among the crowds.

The outing came as fans were still reeling from the couple’s surprise announcement, but those who saw them at the event said Tess and Vernon looked comfortable and happy in each other’s company.

One onlooker told The Sun: “Tess and Vernon seemed super relaxed in each other’s company despite the news of their split.

“It is clear to see that they are still very much happy around one another and there’s been none of this messy split business.

“They chatted to fans and other guests at the event and had a well-earned boogie to Craig David amongst the festival crowds.”

Both Tess and Vernon were seen letting their hair down at the event, where they enjoyed food and music with a wider group of pals, including actor Will Mellor. The pair were also spotted dancing along to performances from Craig David and Gabrielle.

Vernon was said to be in good spirits as he posed for selfies with festivalgoers, while Tess also smiled for photos with fans. Their easygoing appearance seemed to underline the message they shared in their joint separation statement: that their split is amicable and rooted in care and respect.

Another onlooker noticed that Vernon appeared to still be wearing his wedding ring, just two days after Tess was also seen with hers in her first Instagram post since the break-up became public.

Tess and Vernon stunned fans last week when they announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram. They said: “After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably.

“This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us.

“We remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority. There are no other parties involved in this decision.

“We kindly ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this transition together.

“We will not be making any further public comments.”

The couple married in 2003 and share two daughters, Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16. While their split has shocked fans after more than two decades together, their festival appearance suggests they are trying to keep things calm, respectful and united — at least in public — as they begin this new chapter.
