PALOMA’S BAFTA BREASTFEEDING REALITY! Paloma Faith Reveals She Was Pumping Milk In The BAFTAs Toilets Just Nine Weeks After Giving Birth — And Amanda Holden Was The One Helping Her Under The Dress

Paloma Faith has given fans a brutally honest glimpse into the reality of motherhood behind the glamour of the BAFTA TV Awards, revealing she had to sneak off to the toilets during the ceremony to pump breast milk just nine weeks after giving birth.

The 44-year-old singer welcomed her baby son with boyfriend Stevie Thomas in March and attended Sunday night’s star-studded event while balancing the exhausting demands of new motherhood. Despite dazzling on the red carpet in a dramatic fringed black gown, Paloma admitted the reality behind the scenes was far less glamorous.

Taking to Instagram during the ceremony, the singer filmed herself inside the BAFTAs bathroom as she removed her wearable breast pumps and joked about the chaos of the moment. She revealed that fellow TV star Amanda Holden had even stepped in to help fit the pumps underneath her dress before the event.

Laughing about the awkward situation, Paloma told fans: “I’m in the toilets at the BAFTAs and I’ve just taken my magic in-bra pumps out. Breast pumping at the BAFTAs… in the toilets. I should’ve filmed it because Amanda Holden was the one who helped me get them in, but it was too graphic.”

Later in the evening, Paloma proudly showed the results of her determination by posing at the dinner table with Amanda Holden while holding bags filled with breast milk in the air. Sharing the snap online, she cheekily captioned it: “The end result, thanks @noholdenback.”

The emotional honesty struck a chord with many mums online, especially after Paloma recently opened up about the difficulties she experienced breastfeeding her first two children. The singer admitted the process “hurt like mad” and confessed she often felt enormous pressure to continue despite the pain.

She explained that many mothers unfairly blame themselves when breastfeeding becomes difficult and urged women to stop feeling ashamed if things do not go perfectly.

Paloma and Amanda were also joined by their close friend Alan Carr during the BAFTAs celebrations after he won the public-voted Memorable Moment Award for Celebrity Traitors. The trio appeared in high spirits throughout the evening, sharing laughing selfies and hilarious behind-the-scenes moments from their table.

At one point, Paloma posted a funny snap of Alan hiding behind his BAFTA trophy while wearing his trademark glasses, while Amanda uploaded another photo showing all three stars in hysterics together and captioned it: “Blondes have more fun, especially with Alan.”

The light-hearted reunion comes after Paloma and Alan’s friendship hit headlines last year during Celebrity Traitors when Alan chose her as his first “murder victim” on the show — a decision that left the singer furious at the time.

Speaking previously on The Traitors: Uncloaked podcast, Paloma admitted: “I don’t think it was very nice… if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that.”

However, the pair have clearly moved on from the drama, with Alan later revealing he made peace with Paloma after a grovelling phone call.
