“Are you hiding that footage? Then air it right now, live on this broadcast!”: Jimmy Bullard erupts at Ant McPartlin & Declan Donnelly as he demands the ‘truth be exposed’ over Adam Thomas’s allegedly threatening outburst deemed too extreme to air

It should have been a triumphant moment — but the live final of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa spiralled into one of the most chaotic scenes in British TV history as Adam Thomas was crowned Jungle Legend amid fury, walkouts and explosive on-air clashes.

The emotional star appeared tearful as he took the crown in London on Friday night, but celebrations were quickly overshadowed by an escalating feud involving Jimmy Bullard and David Haye, turning the finale into a full-blown showdown.

The tension reached boiling point when Jimmy reignited claims that Adam had been “abusive, aggressive and intimidating” during a heated, unaired argument in the jungle. Given the chance to speak live, Jimmy didn’t hold back, admitting he “threw him under the bus” but firmly insisting he would never accept that kind of behaviour.

He then turned directly to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, accusing them of hiding key footage. Jimmy fumed that the most explosive moments — including repeated use of offensive language — were never shown, calling it “a liberty” and demanding the clips be aired.

Ant pushed back immediately, explaining the footage couldn’t be broadcast due to its language, adding that he had witnessed the incident himself and did not consider Adam intimidating. The exchange only poured fuel on an already volatile situation.

When Adam finally addressed the row, he struck a calmer tone, saying he took “full responsibility” for his actions and admitted emotions had run high. He insisted he had apologised multiple times and reiterated that his behaviour did not reflect who he is.

But the peace didn’t last.

David Haye cut in sharply, dismissing Adam’s apology and accusing the show of editing events to paint him as the victim. He claimed much of the back-and-forth between contestants had been removed and said it was “time for the truth,” suggesting viewers had not seen the full story.

As the argument spiralled, the atmosphere in the studio became increasingly tense — and then came the breaking point.

Sinitta stormed off stage mid-show, shouting to the audience that they “weren’t there” and insisting the situation had been genuinely aggressive and frightening. Moments later, Gemma Collins also exited in frustration, leaving the hosts scrambling to regain control.

Behind them, Jimmy continued shouting, refusing to accept Ant’s defence of Adam and repeatedly demanding the unseen footage be played live. The situation teetered on the edge of complete breakdown before Ant and Dec were forced to shut it down, telling him they would have to “agree to disagree.”

Earlier in the night, David had already stirred controversy by questioning whether Adam deserved to win at all, pointing to the alleged comments made during the jungle clash. Adam responded defiantly, insisting that after everything he had endured — including a brutal eating trial — he believed he did deserve the crown.

Despite the chaos, the result stood: Adam Thomas was officially crowned winner, with Harry Redknapp and Mo Farah finishing behind him, while Craig Charles took fourth place.

But long after the confetti fell, it wasn’t the victory people were talking about — it was the explosive accusations, the missing footage, and a live TV meltdown that left viewers divided across the nation.
