Just days after being rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke, she’s now soaking up the sun on a luxury yacht: Kerry Katona, 45, stuns in a bikini while packing on the PDA with boyfriend Paolo Margaglione, 33 — Kerry Katona’s emotional rollercoaster proves just how fast life can change

Just days after fearing for her life, Kerry Katona has been spotted soaking up the sun — and affection — in a dramatic comeback moment that has fans talking.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 45, was seen for the first time since her shocking hospital dash as she enjoyed a lavish yacht trip in Marbella. Joined by her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione, 33, and two of her children, the getaway doubled as an emotional celebration for her rarely-seen son Maxwell’s 18th birthday.

Wearing a daring thong bikini that showed off her toned, tattooed figure, Kerry looked every inch the comeback queen as she topped up her tan under the Spanish sun. Meanwhile, Paolo went shirtless — and the pair didn’t hold back, openly packing on the PDA as they embraced, kissed, and laughed together on deck.

But behind the glamorous scenes lies a chilling reality.

Only days earlier, Kerry had been rushed to hospital after what doctors initially feared was a stroke — a moment she now describes as the most terrifying of her life. The ordeal began while she was watching her daughter Molly perform in a London play, when her daughter Heidi suddenly noticed something was wrong.

Heidi asked her, “Mum, what’s wrong with your face?” — a comment that sent Kerry into instant panic. Realising she couldn’t move part of her face properly, she quietly left the theatre and rushed back to her hotel, telling staff, “Something’s not right.”

Unable to wait hours for a doctor, she jumped in a taxi to hospital — where the situation escalated rapidly.

Doctors told her they were treating the case as a stroke. Within minutes, she was being transferred by ambulance, lights flashing, as medics shone lights into her eyes while her speech worsened and her face became harder to control.

Reflecting on the terrifying speed of events, Kerry admitted she couldn’t believe how quickly everything changed — one moment watching her daughter perform, the next being treated for a potential life-threatening condition.

Fearing the worst, she sent emotional messages to all of her children, telling them she loved them — convinced she might not get another chance.

“I’ve never been so scared in my life,” she said, recalling the moment.

Thankfully, doctors later ruled out a stroke. However, scans revealed something equally unsettling: a part of her brain had stopped sending proper signals to her face, which she says was triggered by extreme stress.

Now, as she recovers, Kerry appears determined to embrace life — celebrating milestones, leaning on loved ones, and making the most of every moment.

And judging by those sun-drenched yacht snaps, she’s doing exactly that.
