Katie Price has finally confirmed what many suspected — her husband Lee Andrews is currently under a travel ban in Dubai, despite his repeated public denials.
The former glamour model, 47, made the revelation during a candid conversation on her podcast, where she was questioned by her sister Sophie about Lee’s situation. And while she attempted to downplay the seriousness, her admission appeared to contradict everything Lee had previously claimed online.
Katie said she would continue travelling back and forth, insisting, “Of course I’m going back to Dubai and Lee will come here when he needs to.” But when pressed about the rumours, she admitted the truth, explaining that travel bans in Dubai can happen easily and for a wide range of reasons.
She told listeners that even minor issues could lead to restrictions, saying that in Dubai you can get a travel ban for almost anything — from unpaid bills to small infractions — and even joked that she herself “would be banned for life” if the same rules applied in the UK.
Her comments come after a string of serious allegations surrounding Lee, 42. It has previously been claimed he spent three weeks in a Dubai jail over accusations he forged his ex-girlfriend’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan in her name — claims he has strongly denied.
He was also accused last month of taking $1,000 from another woman and failing to repay it, which he again denied publicly on Instagram.
Despite the controversy, Lee has continued to present a very different narrative online. In a bizarre move, he recently posted a spoof article claiming he would return to the UK, insisting that he and Katie are “stronger than ever” and planning to live together soon ahead of another wedding celebration later this year.
At the same time, he raised eyebrows by promoting his OnlyFans account — charging $18 a month — while referring to himself as “Dr. Lee Andrews” and sharing provocative images.
Behind the scenes, however, the reality appears far less glamorous. Reports suggest concerns from Katie’s family, combined with the complications of Lee being unable to leave Dubai, have begun to strain their whirlwind romance.
One insider revealed Katie had initially felt like she was “living in a fairy tale” after Lee swept her off her feet with grand gestures and a diamond ring. But growing doubts from those close to her have reportedly started to take their toll.
The long-distance nature of their marriage — with Katie based in the UK and Lee stuck in Dubai — has only added to the uncertainty. Katie has since admitted she no longer plans to return to Dubai for now, saying she has “done her bit” and wants to focus on her life back home.
She also shared that she hopes Lee will eventually be able to travel to the UK, saying, “Hopefully Lee will be flying to the UK soon. When he can, he’ll come over and just do normal stuff here.”
For now, the future of their relationship remains unclear — with one lingering question hanging in the air: when, and if, Lee will actually be able to leave Dubai.
