After more than a decade away, Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford are officially returning to The Apprentice — and not just for a nostalgic cameo.
The iconic duo, who once sat beside Lord Alan Sugar during the show’s golden years, will play a decisive role in this week’s high-stakes final — marking the first time they’ve appeared together on the show since 2013.
For fans, it’s a full-circle moment. Between 2005 and 2009, Nick and Margaret were at the heart of the boardroom, known for their sharp observations and brutal honesty as they helped Lord Sugar decide who was worthy of his investment.

Margaret later stepped away to focus on her academic career, while Nick exited in 2014, saying at the time it felt like “the appropriate time” to leave. Since then, both have remained familiar faces on British TV — but never quite in a moment like this.
Now, in a surprise twist, they’re back exactly where it matters most.

They won’t be alone either. Former winners Dr Leah Totton, Ricky Martin and Dean Franklin will also return, helping guide the final two candidates as they prepare to pitch their business ideas to a room full of industry experts.
With careers on the line and pressure at its peak, the return of the original advisors adds a whole new level of intensity — and for many viewers, a powerful wave of nostalgia.
Because this isn’t just another finale.
It’s a reunion that could change everything.
