Dianne Buswell has offered fans a heartfelt and refreshingly honest glimpse into her new reality as a first-time mum, revealing how she’s juggling the chaos and beauty of motherhood just weeks after giving birth.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 36, and her fiancé Joe Sugg, 34, welcomed their baby boy, Bowden, earlier this month — and life has already become a whirlwind of emotions, sleepless nights, and tender family moments.

Taking to Instagram, Dianne shared a candid snapshot of her “multitasking” mum life, posing with her newborn son peacefully asleep on her chest while she enjoyed a face mask, her hair slicked back with a black headband. Alongside the image, she simply wrote: Multitasking.
Earlier that same day, she also gave fans a peek into a more relaxed moment, heading out for lunch with “her boys” and snapping a sweet selfie with Joe as they embraced their new chapter as a family of three.
But behind the glowing moments lies the raw reality of early motherhood — something Dianne didn’t shy away from sharing.

In a detailed post documenting her first week as a mum, she walked fans through everything from the final hours of pregnancy to the emotional highs and exhausting lows that followed. She recalled moments like wondering what her baby would look like, the long and intense day of giving birth, and the overwhelming feeling of returning home to balloons, flowers, food and pure love.
She admitted that while some parts were magical, others were far more challenging — particularly the “reality of night feeds,” which quickly became part of her daily routine.
Dianne also revealed that her recovery has been anything but ordinary, sharing that she spent time in an oxygen chamber just one week after giving birth as part of her healing process.
Despite the challenges, she made it clear she’s soaking up every moment, describing the simple joys of “glorious mornings” and spring walks with Joe as some of her most treasured experiences so far.
She also paid an emotional tribute to her fiancé, thanking him for stepping up during this life-changing time. She shared that she couldn’t have done any of it without him, praising “my Joey” for taking such incredible care of both her and their son.
The couple, who first met on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2018, have been documenting their journey closely with fans — from pregnancy to parenthood.

They recently revealed the special meaning behind their son’s full name, Bowden Mark Richard Sugg, with his middle names honouring both Dianne’s father, Mark, and Joe’s late grandfather Richard, who passed away in 2021.
Shortly after announcing the birth, Dianne also clarified how to pronounce the unique name, explaining that Bowden is pronounced “Bow like How, not Bow like Row,” hoping to avoid confusion among fans.
Announcing their son’s arrival, she wrote emotionally: Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg. 16/03/26.
Now, as she navigates the early days of motherhood, Dianne’s honest updates — from self-care moments with a baby in her arms to the exhaustion of night feeds — are striking a chord with fans who are seeing a raw, relatable side of life behind the glamour.
