Freddy Brazier has welcomed his first child — and the timing, along with the name he chose, has left fans deeply moved.
The 21-year-old son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody has become a father to a baby girl with girlfriend Holly Swinburn, just days before the 17th anniversary of his mum’s death — a moment that has given the arrival even greater emotional weight.
Freddy had first confirmed the pregnancy back in September with a cheeky Instagram post, joking: “I’m actually a DILF to be!” But behind the humour, he later admitted the news had come as a surprise, revealing: “I just got sent a photo of a pregnancy test. I was quite struck by it. And that’s how it went.”
Now, the couple have shared their joyful news with the world. In a tender black-and-white photo posted overnight, Freddy beams with pride as Holly cradles their newborn daughter against her chest in what appears to be moments after the birth.
The baby’s name — Isla Jade Brazier — carries a powerful tribute, honouring Freddy’s beloved mother Jade, who passed away when he was just a child. The emotional significance of the name has not gone unnoticed, especially as the little girl is believed to have been born on March 20 — just two days before the anniversary of Jade’s passing.
In the hours leading up to the birth, Holly had shared a glimpse inside their private hospital room. Wearing a pink Sex and the City T-shirt, she was seen bouncing on a birthing ball while using gas and air, as Freddy — dressed in pyjamas — danced beside her in a light-hearted moment before becoming a dad.
The couple even soundtracked the moment with a song titled Just A Gorgeous Girl — a fitting choice, as just hours later, their daughter safely arrived.
Friends and followers flooded Holly with messages of support ahead of the birth, with one writing: “I hope you have a safe delivery beautiful,” while another added: “Good luck diamond girl you’re going to be the BEST mummy.”
Freddy and Holly’s journey to this point hasn’t been without its challenges. The pair, who began dating in June 2025 after connecting on TikTok, briefly split in December following Holly’s concerns about Freddy’s behaviour. She admitted at the time: “Enough is enough, I don’t know if he can change. I stayed with Freddy for the sake of the baby, but it got too much.”
However, the couple have since reconciled, putting their focus firmly on their new chapter as parents.
Despite rumours of tension within the Brazier family, Freddy’s older brother Bobby has made it clear that they are united. Speaking about the baby’s arrival, he said: “I’m excited to become an uncle. It’s going to be a team effort, like raising anything is. My dad has been super supportive, and we’re going to raise the baby together.”
