Pregnant reality star Sophie Kasaei has opened up about feeling unexpectedly low and “miserable” as she prepares to welcome her first child with partner Jordan Brook later this summer.
The former Geordie Shore favourite, 36, who has previously spoken candidly about her two-year fertility struggle, admitted that despite finally getting everything she had dreamed of, she has been overwhelmed by emotions she didn’t anticipate.

Speaking to her close friend and fellow reality star Holly Hagan, Sophie became tearful as she reflected on her mental state during pregnancy. She confessed: “This is everything I’ve ever wanted, why do I feel this low and miserable? I just don’t like this feeling like I don’t know what the hell I’m gonna do.”
Earlier this year, Sophie and Jordan revealed they are expecting a baby boy — a moment she described as both magical and emotionally complicated. Recalling the gender reveal, she said: “This is just amazing and magical but then I was like, ‘There’s blue’.”

Holly responded by reassuring her that such feelings are more common than people admit, explaining that gender disappointment is something she frequently sees discussed online. Sophie agreed, adding that people shouldn’t be judged for experiencing it.
But the emotional rollercoaster hasn’t stopped there. Sophie’s difficult pregnancy has been compounded by a frightening health scare involving her partner Jordan, who is currently in hospital suffering from inflammation and swelling of the brain.
In a worrying update, Jordan described his condition as “a never ending hell at moment,” explaining that he is still awaiting results from medical procedures while dealing with confirmed brain inflammation. He admitted it was “a really scary time that reassures you we are all human.”

Sophie has been unable to stay by his side due to the risks to her pregnancy, but has kept fans updated on their situation. Sharing her fears, she said: “It’s been a tough two weeks for our family. Seeing Jordan so poorly has been hard but he is getting there and will get better.”
Despite the uncertainty, she remains hopeful, revealing that both she and her unborn baby are “praying and staying strong for dadda” as they wait for him to return home.
She added that the family is still waiting for answers but is trying to stay positive, saying every day brings them “one step closer to being back as a family.”
