Mother’s Day in the UK became another emotional chapter in the ongoing Beckham family saga after Brooklyn Beckham appeared to ignore his mother Victoria publicly, while the rest of the family flooded social media with heartfelt tributes.
The 27-year-old, who has been at the centre of a long-running rift with his parents, raised eyebrows after failing to share a Mother’s Day message for Victoria Beckham. Instead, Brooklyn posted a birthday tribute to his mother-in-law Claudia Heffner Peltz, writing: “Happy birthday to the best mother in law x love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.”

The timing of the post – landing on Mother’s Day in the UK – quickly caught fans’ attention and added fuel to speculation that tensions within the Beckham clan remain unresolved.
But while Brooklyn stayed silent, the rest of the Beckham family made sure Victoria felt loved.
The couple’s youngest child, Harper, 14, shared a touching tribute alongside a throwback photo of herself with her mother. In her message she wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mum ever. Thank you for always being there for me, supporting me, and putting up with me even on my worst days.”

She added: “I don’t say it enough, but I’m really grateful for everything you do for me every single day. I love you so much and hope you have the best day because you deserve it.”
Victoria later reposted the message to her 33.5 million followers, replying warmly: “I love you Harper.”
The fashion designer also shared loving messages from sons Romeo and Cruz, who both publicly celebrated their mum on the special day.
Meanwhile, David Beckham also took the opportunity to pay tribute to his wife with a heartfelt message and a nostalgic photo. He wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing mummy… You are an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be to our 4 amazing children.”
David continued: “We love you so much and I’m so thankful for the family we have created. Have a special Mother’s Day because if there’s one person that deserves it it’s you. I love you.”

The contrast between Brooklyn’s silence and the outpouring of love from the rest of the family has only intensified scrutiny around the Beckham family feud, which has been playing out publicly for months.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn broke his silence about the tensions in a statement where he made clear how deep the divide had become. He said: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.”
He continued: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn also accused his relatives of prioritising their brand image, claiming: “My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.”
Despite the painful public fallout, sources close to David and Victoria insist the couple still love their eldest son deeply and hope the door to reconciliation will remain open if circumstances change.
Elsewhere across the UK, celebrities marked Mother’s Day with emotional tributes of their own.
Joe Swash praised wife Stacey Solomon in a heartfelt post, calling her “our very own superwoman” and thanking her for everything she does for their family.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay also celebrated his wife Tana with a collection of family photos, writing: “A Very Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums and expecting Mums to Be across the UK. Have an incredible day full of love and thank you for everything you do so relentlessly each and every day.”
Their daughter Holly Ramsay also shared her own tribute, writing simply: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mama. I love you so much.”
Spice Girl Mel B posted an adorable throwback photo with her mum Andrea, while Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden shared a reflective message alongside photos of her own mother and daughters.
Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson also marked a milestone, sharing an emotional message during her first Mother’s Day since welcoming twins.
Yet for the Beckham family, the day once again highlighted the growing distance between Brooklyn and the rest of his famous relatives – a divide that continues to captivate fans and fuel speculation about whether the family will ever fully reunite.
