Katie Price’s whirlwind marriage to businessman Lee Andrews has been thrown into fresh controversy after claims emerged that he left a luxury Dubai hotel without paying a substantial bill following their lavish wedding.
The former glamour model, 47, tied the knot with Lee in January at the exclusive One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai after a whirlwind romance that stunned her family. The couple exchanged vows in the hotel’s lush gardens just two days after announcing their engagement, which had taken place at another iconic location, the Burj Al Arab.
But six weeks after the ceremony, insiders claim the businessman still hasn’t settled the outstanding bill from the hotel stay.

According to sources speaking to the Daily Mail, Lee allegedly promised to return and clear the charges but has yet to do so. With rooms at the resort costing around £2,000 a night, the unpaid costs are believed to run into several thousands of pounds.
One insider said Lee Andrews has not yet paid the One&Only Royal Mirage hotel where he and Katie Price got married. He promised to settle the outstanding bills but still hasn’t, and it’s been over six weeks.
Photos from the couple’s wedding show Katie wearing a cut-out white dress as she celebrated with champagne in the romantic garden setting. Rose petals were scattered across the ground while a celebrant officiated the ceremony using an iPad, as the pair gazed at each other and held hands.

Their romance had progressed at lightning speed. The wedding took place just seven days after they first met and only 16 days after it was revealed Katie had split from Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater.
However, the relationship has been surrounded by warnings and allegations about Lee’s past.
His former fiancée, personal trainer Alana Percival, had reportedly cautioned Katie after revealing Lee had proposed to her only 16 weeks earlier. Alana claimed he staged an almost identical rose-petal engagement at Dubai’s Burj Al Arab.
Another woman, American Crystal Janke, also alleged that Lee had been dating both her and Alana at the same time and claimed he took £123,000 from her.
Lee has also faced legal trouble in Dubai. In 2025 he spent three weeks in jail over fraud charges after being accused of forging the signature of ex-girlfriend Dina Taji in order to take out a £200,000 mortgage in her name.

When approached by the Daily Mail about the alleged unpaid hotel bill, Lee insisted that the matter had already been settled.
He said: “It was fully paid. It was an SMS on my HSBC locally. I will ping it to you so you can see it.”
However, by the following day he had still not produced proof of payment, later adding: “Saturday morning you’ll have it.”
The controversy comes after another revelation about Lee’s lifestyle contradicted the image of immense wealth he had reportedly presented.
Despite previously claiming to own a £36 million mansion in Dubai, Lee was recently discovered to be living in a modest bungalow with his father in the Al Bada’a neighbourhood while preparing for his wedding to Katie.
The property, a small single-storey white house squeezed between larger apartment blocks, stands in stark contrast to the lavish lifestyle often associated with the former glamour model.
For now, the couple are also separated by circumstance. Katie has returned to the UK, while Lee is unable to leave the UAE due to travel restrictions. With flights limited amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, they are currently maintaining their relationship through FaceTime calls.
Meanwhile, Katie’s whirlwind engagement and marriage have left her close family shocked.
Her sister Sophie admitted on The Katie Price Show podcast that the situation had caused huge strain within the family.
She said she felt drained and that the year had been a really awful start, adding that Katie had once again traumatised the family and caused significant stress.
Katie herself also revealed that her mother, Amy Price — who is currently in hospital — had burst into tears after learning about the marriage and had given her a severe telling-off for tying the knot with someone she barely knew.
Even Katie’s children were stunned by the news. Junior and Princess Andre reportedly found out about their mother’s fourth marriage through a family group chat message.
Princess later admitted her reaction was simply “OMG,” explaining that her mum has always been impulsive but this decision was on another level entirely.
