As tensions continue to simmer inside the famous Beckham clan, Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull appears to be making her position crystal clear — and it involves showing very public admiration for boyfriend Romeo’s mother, Victoria Beckham.
The DJ, who has been dating Romeo since 2024, took to Instagram on Friday to share a glamorous snap of herself wearing a striking black lace gown designed by Victoria. The elegant dress, which retails for £1,990, featured a daring backless cut and instantly caught the attention of fans.
Captioning the photo, Kim couldn’t hide her admiration for the Spice Girl-turned-designer, writing simply: “No dress like a @victoriabckham dress.”
Victoria clearly appreciated the show of support, responding in the comments with four red heart emojis — a subtle but telling moment that fans quickly interpreted as a warm sign of approval.
The post arrived during Kim’s ultra-luxurious journey aboard the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, where she appeared to be living the high life while travelling from Paris to Venice.
Kim shared a series of glamorous updates from the trip, including a daring photo of herself posing naked in bed inside the train’s Le Lacs Grand Suite — one of the most exclusive cabins on board. The opulent suite reportedly costs upwards of £5,500 per journey and features a private ensuite bathroom, living area, double bed, underfloor heating, round-the-clock cabin service, private dining and free-flowing champagne.
The DJ also documented moments from her Italian adventure, including a romantic boat ride along Venice’s famous canals once the train arrived in the historic city.
Before departing on the two-day journey — which winds through the dramatic Dolomite mountains and the Austrian city of Innsbruck — Kim even showed off the designer accessories she had packed for the trip.
Posting a playful photo of several Chanel handbags lined up together, she jokingly captioned the image: “The kids.”
Among the luxury collection were a large classic quilted Chanel bag worth £9,540 and a limited-edition 2021 mini flap bag in blue and pink that is currently listed on Sotheby’s for around $7,000 (£5,200). In total, the four handbags are estimated to be worth more than £26,000.
Kim’s glowing praise for Victoria’s fashion line comes at a delicate moment for the Beckham family.
Victoria herself has been busy promoting her latest fragrance launch while in Paris, sharing a playful video where she encouraged her cameraman to capture the £170 perfume on camera. Dressed in a sleek, figure-hugging outfit, the designer appeared relaxed and confident while working from her Paris office.
Earlier in the week, Victoria also turned heads in London when she stepped out of her Soho office wearing a dramatic black dress with an extreme thigh-high split, paired with towering grey heels. The mother-of-four looked in high spirits after a morning of meetings while waiting for her chauffeur.
She had recently returned from Paris Fashion Week, where she showcased her latest runway collection. Victoria’s show was supported by husband David Beckham and children Romeo, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14 — along with Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
However, eldest son Brooklyn Beckham was noticeably absent.
The 27-year-old has remained distant from family events following his explosive six-page statement in which he publicly criticised members of his family, further deepening the rift between him, his parents, and wife Nicola Peltz.
Against that tense backdrop, Kim’s enthusiastic support for Victoria’s brand has not gone unnoticed by fans, many of whom believe she is quietly strengthening her bond with the Beckham matriarch.
Romeo and Kim first began dating in 2024 and were together for around seven months before briefly splitting in June last year.
At the time, insiders suggested their relationship had become entangled in the Beckham family feud, with Kim allegedly being treated as a “scapegoat.” Rumours circulated that she had once dated Brooklyn, which reportedly made Nicola uncomfortable around her.
Brooklyn himself appeared to reference the situation in his dramatic public statement distancing himself from his family.
Despite the turmoil, Romeo and Kim rekindled their romance in October and have since appeared stronger than ever.
Their relationship has not been entirely free of awkward moments, however.
Both Kim and Romeo recently attended the launch of Club Poppi in Shoreditch — an event where Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Mia Regan also happened to be present. The model, who dated Romeo for five years before their split in early 2024, reportedly left the event shortly after the couple arrived.
The situation echoed another tense moment during London Fashion Week when Mia allegedly made a swift exit from a party after Romeo arrived with Kim on his arm.
Mia had been sitting front row when Romeo walked the runway for Burberry, while Kim proudly watched him from the audience.
Later that evening, according to reports, Mia quietly slipped away from the Mayfair after-party after just 20 minutes once the couple arrived at around 10:35pm, while Romeo and Kim stayed and partied until 2:30am.
Romeo and Mia originally began dating in 2019 before confirming their split in February 2024, only weeks after moving into a home together in Battersea.
At the time, Romeo shared a message with fans explaining their breakup, writing that they had “friend-zoned” each other but still had great respect for one another and would always remain friends.
For now, though, it appears Kim Turnbull may be carving out her own place inside the Beckham dynasty — and judging by Victoria’s approving response online, she may already be winning the approval that matters most.
