Katie Price says that saying “I love you” too early is a red flag — even though she married Lee Andrews just 10 days after meeting him

Katie Price has made a surprisingly honest confession about one of her biggest relationship red flags — despite her own whirlwind love story with husband Lee Andrews.

The 47-year-old reality star returned to The Katie Price Show, the podcast she hosts with her sister Sophie Price, where the pair had a candid discussion about dating warnings and relationship deal-breakers.

During the episode, Sophie read out a listener’s red flag: someone saying “love ya” after the first date. Katie immediately reacted with mock disbelief, saying, “Oh, get lost,” before jokingly acknowledging the irony. “Says me who got married after two… three weeks.”

Sophie sighed and teased her sister, replying, “Ah, you idiot,” before quickly moving the conversation along to the podcast’s next segment, Spill The Tea.

A whirlwind marriage that shocked everyone

Katie’s comments come just months after she stunned fans by marrying so-called businessman Lee Andrews in Dubai in January — only 10 days after the pair first met.

The former glamour model famously announced her engagement to her children through a family WhatsApp group message, a move that reportedly left relatives shocked.

On the podcast, Sophie didn’t hold back about how the family reacted to the sudden news.

“You’ve traumatised us all,” she told Katie bluntly. “I’ve had a s*** start to the year caused by you. You’ve been a pain in the f*ing ae.”

The sisters admitted that the last time they attempted to record the podcast together, they ended up falling out over the marriage — with Katie even hanging up on Sophie during the argument.

Their mum’s emotional hospital reaction

Katie also opened up about a heartbreaking moment when she visited their mother Amy in hospital, revealing that the whirlwind wedding had left her in tears.

Amy underwent a lung transplant in 2022 after being diagnosed with terminal idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and she has continued to struggle with her health.

Recalling the visit, Katie said: “I went and saw her in the hospital.”

Sophie explained that their mum had been admitted again due to an infection and was not doing well.

Katie described how she comforted her mother, saying, “I gave her a big cuddle. I said, ‘Come here Mum, you need a daughter hug. I love you.’ And she was crying.”

Sophie later asked Amy whether she had given Katie a telling-off for the sudden marriage — and their mum admitted that she had.

Family fears and unanswered questions

Despite the family’s concerns, Katie insists that Lee Andrews is genuine and that their relationship is real.

She previously revealed that the pair first connected when Lee appeared in her Instagram suggested follows, prompting her to send him a message. The two quickly began chatting for up to five hours a day before eventually meeting in person in Dubai.

However, the romance has been surrounded by controversy. Several of Lee’s former partners have made explosive accusations, while some of his claims about his wealth, business success and celebrity connections have reportedly been called into question.

Adding to the unease, Katie’s family still haven’t met Lee, as he continues to live in Dubai and has yet to travel to the UK.

Even so, Katie has made it clear that she intends to follow her heart.

She recently addressed her family’s worries, saying: “Of course my family are going to worry. They love me and they’ve seen me go through so much heartache and some horrific times.”

“But I’m not a kid any more. I’m 47 and I can make my own choices. They have to give me the chance to go and find out for myself.”
