He’ll D.i.e From a Heart Attack: Katie Price’s Heartbreak as Harvey’s Weight Battle Becomes a Life-or-Death Fear

Katie Price has shared her growing fear over son Harvey’s health, admitting she worries he could “end up dying of a heart attack” as his weight continues to rise due to his complex medical conditions.

The former glamour model, 47, opened up about the painful reality on The Katie Price Show podcast, telling sister Sophie that Harvey’s condition has reached a point where she is frightened every time he goes to sleep.

Katie explained that Harvey, 23, is now snoring, wheezing and at times even holding his breath during the night, leaving her terrified about what could happen. “I’m not slagging the NHS off, but they know he’s in the obese category,” she said. “When he sleeps, I worry because he’s snoring and wheezing, and then sometimes he holds his breath. He’s massive, Soph, he’s just getting bigger. He’ll end up dying of a heart attack.”

Her comments lay bare the emotional toll of caring for Harvey, who lives with Prader-Willi syndrome — a rare condition that causes an insatiable appetite and constant hunger, often leading to severe obesity. Alongside that, Harvey also has septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, autism and oppositional defiant disorder.

Katie said she has been desperately trying to get medical help, revealing that she has been pushing doctors to prescribe Harvey Mounjaro in the hope it could help him lose weight. But after failing to find a clear path forward, she said she was even considering turning to Instagram to ask followers if they knew of a private doctor who could help.

“They’ve already told me years ago that if he don’t lose weight, he’s prone to a heart attack,” she said. “I just feel so bad, I’m going to have to do something. I’m not going to inject him myself, that’s not medically right to do for him. But something needs to be done; he’s just huge, so that’s that.”

Katie has previously spoken about the scale of Harvey’s weight struggles, revealing last summer that he had reached 30 stone. At the time, she admitted she felt “heartbroken and gutted” as his condition became increasingly dangerous.

“I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg off being 30 stone,” she said last year. “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much. It’s just another thing I have to deal with because he’s at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put on his trainers or struggles to walk anywhere, but I love him, and I’m going to help him through this.”

She added that the most devastating part is that Harvey does not fully understand what is happening to him. “So sad, obesity and his condition is sad, it’s sad to see someone go through it and he doesn’t understand,” Katie said.

In the past, Katie has tried to help Harvey lose weight through changes to his diet, alongside plans to sign him up for the gym and boxing. She has also spoken about weight-loss injections, previously revealing that Harvey had started jabs and had lost “a stone and a half.”

Now, however, her latest comments show a mother increasingly overwhelmed by the fear that time may be running out unless something changes fast.
