Oasis icon Noel Gallagher has quietly split from his girlfriend Sally Mash after two years together, with friends insisting the pair simply realised their relationship “wasn’t right.”
The 58-year-old musician had been dating the private members’ club boss since 2023, with Sally frequently seen supporting him during the hugely anticipated Oasis reunion tour last year.
However, insiders have revealed that the couple decided to go their separate ways earlier this year.

A friend explained that the breakup was far from dramatic, saying they had simply reached the conclusion that their relationship wasn’t meant to last. According to the source, there was no fallout between them and they have remained on good terms despite ending the romance.
Friends also told The Sun that Noel and Sally are still friendly and that there is “no bad blood” between them after deciding to call time on their two-year relationship.
The rocker appeared to be in high spirits this week when he was spotted out in London without Sally. One pal said Noel has been taking the split in his stride and seemed relaxed while enjoying a night out in the capital.

The couple were first revealed to be dating in October 2023, marking Noel’s first public relationship following the breakdown of his marriage to Sara MacDonald, which ended the same year.
Months later, Noel confirmed the romance and joked about his good fortune in love. He said he had “punched above my weight several times in my life” and believed making a woman laugh was often the key to winning her over.
He also once joked about the coincidence that Sally shared her name with the famous lyric from Oasis’ 1996 hit Don’t Look Back in Anger, which features the line: “So Sally can wait.”
During their relationship, Sally was regularly seen alongside Noel, including backstage during the band’s monumental comeback tour — their first run of shows since the dramatic split between Noel and his brother Liam Gallagher back in 2009.
She joined him for the emotional opening night of the tour in Cardiff last July and was also spotted dining in London with Noel and former Doctor Who actor Matt Smith.
But last weekend Noel attended the Brit Awards without her, sparking speculation that the relationship had already come to an end.

Despite the split, Noel appears to be focusing on enjoying life. This week he was spotted at a gig in West London watching Talking Heads legend David Byrne perform, where he happily posed for photos with fans, including comedian Ivo Graham.
The Oasis guitarist has previously spoken candidly about how personal upheaval influences his music. Reflecting on his divorce from Sara MacDonald, he admitted the experience had shaped the mood of his 2023 album Council Skies.
Noel explained that divorce can be a long and exhausting process, adding that when major events happen in his life he tends to channel them into his songwriting. He said that turning those experiences into music often results in better art and helps him process what he is going through.
