Snubbed as ‘performative’ by son Brooklyn, Victoria Beckham responds by thanking her family for “always being there to support her” at a major event

Victoria Beckham shared a heartfelt message to her loved ones after they rallied around her at Paris Fashion Week, thanking her family for standing by her during one of the biggest moments of her fashion calendar.

The former Spice Girl, 51, took to Instagram on Friday night to post a series of images from her glamorous runway show in the French capital. Alongside a sweet family photo, she wrote: “Thank you for always being there to support me. I love you all so much xxx.”

Her husband David Beckham attended the show alongside three of their children — Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14 — in a public display of family unity during a time when the Beckham clan has been dealing with an ongoing rift with eldest son Brooklyn.

Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel also joined the family for the event, arriving in a stunning mint-green satin gown designed by Victoria herself.

Despite the supportive turnout, Brooklyn Beckham, 27, was noticeably absent from the event as the family feud continues to cast a shadow over major Beckham milestones.

The designer unveiled her Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection to a glittering audience packed with celebrities, fashion insiders and her closest supporters.

Earlier in the evening, David Beckham arrived looking effortlessly sharp in a tailored black suit paired with a gold chain. Romeo opted for a more relaxed but stylish look in brown cargo trousers and a leather jacket, while Cruz made a bold statement in a vibrant purple-and-orange crochet cardigan.

Harper, the couple’s youngest child, appeared to wear one of her mother’s designs — a dramatic black cape gown — as she joined the family inside the venue.

Among the famous faces in attendance were actress Nina Dobrev, who wore a sheer black top with high-waisted barrel-leg trousers and a leather jacket, and German star Diane Kruger, who arrived in a cream asymmetric dress with a lace cut-out bodice.

Model Caroline Daur also caught the eye in a striking red satin gown featuring ruched detailing. She was previously rumoured to have briefly dated Romeo Beckham.

Victoria herself made a stylish entrance earlier in the week while preparing for the show, stepping out in a £1,600 red turtleneck sweater from her own collection paired with £475 Alina trousers. She completed the look with a coveted Hermès Kelly 35 teddy shearling handbag reportedly worth up to £68,000.

The designer arrived in Paris days before the show to oversee final preparations for the highly anticipated runway presentation.

Victoria’s shows have long been known as family affairs, with the Beckham clan traditionally turning out in full force to support her fashion empire.

However, the absence of Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz once again highlighted the ongoing family tensions.

Brooklyn, who celebrated his 27th birthday earlier this week, shocked fans in January when he posted a lengthy six-page statement on Instagram announcing he was distancing himself from his famous parents.

Now living permanently in the United States with Nicola — the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz — Brooklyn has continued to keep his distance from several major family moments.

Over the past year he has missed a string of high-profile events including David Beckham’s 50th birthday, Victoria’s 51st birthday celebrations, David’s knighthood ceremony and, most recently, Cruz’s 21st birthday party.

Meanwhile Cruz, who is currently touring the UK with his band to sold-out crowds, took time out from his schedule to support his mother at the Paris show.

Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week event also drew some of the biggest names in the fashion world, including Vogue editor Anna Wintour, former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful and supermodel Helena Christensen.

Paris Fashion Week runs from March 2 to March 10 and features dozens of major runway presentations from the world’s leading fashion houses.
