Brooklyn Beckham blasts his parents’ ‘fake’ birthday wishes while showering wife Nicola with praise after her surprise cameo in the new series The Beauty

Brooklyn Beckham publicly celebrated his wife Nicola Peltz’s latest acting moment on social media — a show of support that came just hours before his estranged father Sir David Beckham revealed he had arrived in Paris.

The 27-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on Thursday to praise Nicola after she made a surprise cameo appearance in the finale of the FX series The Beauty. Reposting her interview with The Hollywood Reporter alongside a glamorous promotional photo of Nicola in character as Franny Forst, Brooklyn couldn’t hide his pride.

He wrote: “So so so proud of @nicolaannepeltzbeckham. You are so talented. Everyone go watch the finale of ‘the beauty’. Love you,” adding a red heart emoji.

Nicola, 31, quickly shared Brooklyn’s sweet tribute to her Instagram Story, also posting clips that gave fans a glimpse of her appearance in the series alongside Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher, who plays Byron Forst in the show.

In the horror drama, Nicola appears as Franny Forst, Byron’s wife, in a surprise cameo that aired during the season finale on Wednesday evening.

Brooklyn’s affectionate post about his wife came at a striking moment — just hours before his father David announced to his 88.4 million Instagram followers that he had landed in Paris.

Sharing a selfie outside the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral, the football legend smiled for the camera as he wrote: “Always amazing to be back in Paris.”

David also tagged Paris Saint-Germain in the post, suggesting the trip may be linked to the upcoming PSG vs Monaco match.

The timing of both posts drew attention as tensions within the Beckham family continue to make headlines.

According to recent reports, Brooklyn was left “disheartened” after his parents publicly wished him a happy birthday on social media earlier this week — something he reportedly viewed as performative.

The aspiring chef turned 27 on Wednesday, but despite heartfelt posts from David, Victoria and his brothers Romeo and Cruz, Brooklyn did not acknowledge any of their messages online.

Sources told Entertainment Tonight that Brooklyn and Nicola were upset by the public birthday tributes because the couple had previously requested that any communication from his parents be handled privately through lawyers.

A source explained that Brooklyn and Nicola were disheartened his parents chose to make public Instagram posts for his birthday, adding that these were exactly the kind of performative gestures Brooklyn had been trying to stop.

Last summer, the couple reportedly sent a legal letter asking that any correspondence from David and Victoria be directed through legal representatives rather than social media.

Instead of responding to his family, Brooklyn appeared focused on celebrating with Nicola.

The actress marked the occasion with a romantic tribute on Instagram, sharing a photo of the pair surrounded by pink balloons.

She wrote: “Happy birthday baby… I hope all your dreams and wishes come true! You light up every room you walk into and anyone who knows you loves you… you’re the most special human and I love being your wife. I love you I love you I love you.”

Brooklyn replied in the comments with a short but affectionate message: “I love you baby girl.”

Nicola also surprised him with a creative birthday treat — a box containing 21 personalised iced cakes spelling out “Happy Birthday Brooklyn”.

In a video she shared, Brooklyn could be seen blowing out candles placed on top of a box of doughnuts while Nicola encouraged him to make a wish.

Meanwhile, his parents and siblings continued their attempts to reach out publicly.

David shared childhood photos of his eldest son and wrote: “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you,” using Brooklyn’s childhood nickname.

Victoria posted the same photo with the caption: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,” along with another image of herself laughing with her son.

Romeo shared a childhood throwback photo of the pair without a caption, while Cruz posted a picture of the brothers together and wrote: “I love you.”

Despite the olive branch from his family, Brooklyn appeared to focus his attention elsewhere — celebrating his birthday privately with Nicola and promoting her latest acting role.

The latest developments come months after Brooklyn released a six-page Instagram statement in January accusing his parents of attempting to undermine his marriage and prioritising their public image over family relationships.

In the statement, he claimed his parents had long controlled the narrative about their family in the press, writing that performative social media posts and carefully staged family moments had defined much of his upbringing.

He also alleged that lies had been placed in the media to protect what he described as a carefully maintained facade.

While the rift with his parents continues, Brooklyn is reportedly still in contact with his grandfather Ted Beckham and his wife Hilary, who also shared a birthday message for him online.

For now, however, the young entrepreneur appears determined to keep his focus on his life with Nicola — even as the family drama surrounding the Beckhams shows little sign of fading.
