Nicola Peltz’s sister has shared a pointedly cryptic message on social media, just hours after reports emerged that the heiress and her husband Brooklyn Beckham are planning to adopt a child amid his bitter feud with parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.
Brittany Peltz took to Instagram on Saturday to post an emotive quote reading: “That dream was planted in your heart for a reason. Trust it.”
The timing was impossible to ignore, coming just hours after claims surfaced that Brooklyn, 26, and wife Nicola Peltz, 31, have been holding “several” serious conversations about adopting a child together.
Brittany, a mother of two and founder of a children’s clothing brand, is known to be extremely close to Nicola and was a prominent presence at her lavish 2022 wedding to Brooklyn. Her post has been widely interpreted as a quiet show of support as tensions between the Beckhams and their eldest son continue to escalate.
A source close to the couple said the decision to adopt is something Brooklyn and Nicola are deeply aligned on. According to the insider, they want a “brood” of children, with at least one not biologically theirs, driven by a shared belief that their immense privilege comes with responsibility. The source added that the pair have spoken extensively about offering a disadvantaged child “the best possible life.”
The news is said to be a devastating blow for David and Victoria, who have long dreamed of becoming hands-on grandparents and now face the prospect of having no contact with a future grandchild.
Last month, Brooklyn released a scathing six-page statement publicly outlining his grievances with his family and making it clear he had no intention of reconciling. He ended the statement by declaring that he had found peace in the life he has chosen with Nicola, insisting they want a future free from “image, press, or manipulation,” focused solely on privacy, happiness and their own family.
The adoption reports come alongside further signs of the deepening rift, after Brooklyn was recently seen covering up tattoos dedicated to his father and siblings, while leaving those honouring Nicola untouched.
