Katie Price’s fourth wedding to businessman Lee Andrews in Dubai exposed as a sham — and NOT legally binding

Katie Price’s whirlwind fourth “wedding ceremony” in Dubai has been revealed as little more than a symbolic display, with no legal standing — as concerns grow among her family, who are reportedly planning an intervention.

The former glamour model, 47, stunned the showbiz world when she announced her engagement last Friday, just days after splitting from reality star JJ Slater. Within 48 hours, she appeared to marry Dubai-based expat Lee Andrews in an ultra-fast ceremony that raised eyebrows across the industry.

However, it has now emerged that the lavish event — staged at the five-star One and Only Royal Mirage on Palm Jumeirah — was not legally binding. The celebrant who officiated the ceremony confirmed it was purely symbolic, explaining that legal marriages require court paperwork either in Dubai or back in the UK.

“I’m a showman,” the celebrant said, adding that couples must go to court to make it official. He explained that many British couples opt for the legal formalities before or after their ceremony, but it remains unclear whether Katie and Lee ever did so.

Photos from the event showed Katie gazing adoringly at Lee as she exchanged vows in a skimpy cut-out dress, flashing a huge diamond ring — reportedly the same ring Lee had previously given to his ex-wife just months earlier. The pair posed among rose petals overlooking the Persian Gulf, with vows read from an iPad and champagne flowing afterwards.

Despite the romantic visuals, the speed of the ceremony fuelled speculation that the entire event was staged for publicity. That concern appears to be shared by Katie’s inner circle, with her family now said to be alarmed by the situation and preparing to step in.

The ceremony came amid fresh controversy surrounding Lee, after claims on his LinkedIn profile — including boasts of being a multi-millionaire and advising major institutions — were publicly challenged. While the celebrant insisted the couple looked “head over heels in love” during the vows, the legal reality behind the ceremony tells a very different story.
