Romeo Beckham appeared determined not to let his family’s very public fallout dampen his spirits as he stepped out in Paris with girlfriend Kim Turnbull on Thursday night.
The 23-year-old attended the exclusive Costes party alongside Kim, 24, just days after his older brother Brooklyn Beckham unleashed a bombshell six-page Instagram statement insisting he had no desire to reconcile with his family and was standing up for himself “for the first time in my life”.
In the explosive post, Brooklyn accused his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham of controlling the family narrative, and claimed his mother had repeatedly invited women from his past into their lives in ways that made him and his wife Nicola Peltz uncomfortable.
Yet Romeo looked carefree as he arrived at the Parisian hotspot, leading the way into the venue with Kim by his side. The former footballer opted for a smart-casual look, wearing a crisp white long-sleeved shirt with beige jeans, finishing the outfit with brown boots and a Balenciaga tartan scarf draped over his head.
Kim cut a striking figure in a black crop top paired with faded grey jeans, layering a faux-fur coat over her shoulders and carrying a mini black handbag. While Romeo appeared upbeat, Kim looked more subdued as the couple entered the party together.
The night out comes amid renewed scrutiny of Kim’s role in the widening rift between the Beckham brothers. Brooklyn’s statement appeared to allude to a past connection with her, suggesting Nicola felt uncomfortable around Kim — claims the model and DJ has firmly denied.
Kim, who is the granddaughter of acclaimed post-war sculptor William Turnbull, has previously addressed the speculation in a public statement, insisting she had never been romantically involved with Brooklyn at any stage and that their connection extended no further than a school friendship at the age of 16.
Despite the swirling drama, Romeo and Kim appeared united as the evening went on, later being photographed leaving the hotel party hand in hand before heading back together as the night drew to a close.
For Romeo, the Paris appearance sent a clear message: while tensions within the Beckham family continue to make headlines, he is choosing to focus on his relationship — and living his life away from the noise.
