Helen Flanagan has been spotted in public for the first time since claims emerged that her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair is trying to force her out of the £1million family home she shares with their three children.
The former Coronation Street star, 35, appeared determined to put on a brave face as she ran errands, just hours after fresh details of the bitter property dispute were revealed. Wrapped in a huge pink faux-fur coat, teamed with tight black trousers and an oversized black furry handbag, Helen was seen deep in conversation on her phone while popping to the shops.
But while she stayed silent in public, Helen appeared to make her feelings crystal clear online. Taking to Instagram later that day, she shared a cryptic message using emojis, hinting that her “mind is blown” and revealing she felt the need to go for a run to “clear her head” — a move many fans saw as a subtle swipe at her former partner.
Helen split from ex-footballer Scott Sinclair, 35, in 2022 after 13 years together. Despite never marrying, the pair share three children — daughters Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and four-year-old son Charlie — and have been locked in a tense battle ever since.
Sources say Scott, who bought the six-bedroom Bolton property in June 2021 for £840,000, is keen to sell the home, which was previously listed for £1.5million before being reduced to £995,000. Insiders claim Helen is refusing to move, insisting the children are settled at school and close to her parents, who live nearby.
A friend of the actress has said Scott believes the house is “far too big” and has offered to buy Helen a four-bedroom property in her own name — but only if ongoing maintenance payments stop. Helen, however, is said to be furious, having invested significant sums of her own money renovating what was once a run-down property into a family home.
“The relationship has completely broken down,” a source claimed, adding that the pair no longer communicate directly, with everything now going through Helen’s parents.
The housing row comes after months of public tension between the former couple. Over Christmas, Helen lashed out at Scott after he missed their son Charlie’s nativity play, instead sharing snaps from a Formula One weekend in Abu Dhabi — a moment that sparked a furious reaction from the actress online.
