Helen Skelton is radiating happiness — and it’s not just because of the sunshine in the Lake District. The 41-year-old TV presenter has shared a series of joyful behind-the-scenes snaps from filming the new season of Lost and Found in the Lakes, all while fuelling rumours of a growing romance with fellow presenter Gethin Jones.
In a set of Instagram photos, Helen beams in a cream cardigan, looking relaxed and content as she celebrates wrapping up filming with her team. She captioned the post with gratitude:
“Finished filming a series this week with some top peeps… very grateful for talented friends who let me get home swiftly, chase the glorious weather and love a sunset rave. New series coming soon!”
The second season of the BBC One show sees Helen returning to her Lake District roots to reunite people with long-lost treasures. Following a successful first series earlier this year — the highest-rated unscripted show in its slot — the programme has officially been recommissioned.
Helen shared her excitement: “I had a fantastic experience returning lost treasures to their owners and I can’t wait to get back to it!”
But it’s not just work that has fans talking. Helen and Morning Live co-host Gethin Jones appear to be getting closer by the day. Just this week, the pair were spotted looking cozy as they rode through Manchester on Gethin’s motorbike for a breakfast date. Helen, in a tan leather jacket and jeans, wrapped her arms around Gethin’s waist as they cruised on his Triumph Bonneville.
Their chemistry has been bubbling behind the scenes for months, with insiders suggesting their bond has shifted from friendly to something much deeper.
This blossoming connection comes after Helen’s split from rugby player Richie Myler in 2022 — and fans are thrilled to see her smiling again.
