Gordon Ramsay has shared a deeply emotional tribute to his daughter Holly Ramsay just hours before she marries Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, calling it one of the proudest moments of his life.
Taking to Instagram ahead of the big day, the TV chef posted a tender photo with Holly and wrote that he felt “truly so lucky” to be walking his daughter down the aisle — while also gaining “an incredible son-in-law”. He told Holly directly that he loved her “so much” and admitted he “couldn’t be a prouder Dad”.

The wedding is taking place today at Bath Abbey, but the romantic milestone has been overshadowed by intense family drama. Adam’s parents have been disinvited following a bitter and very public feud that has simmered for weeks.
Despite the turmoil, Adam appeared calm and reflective on the morning of the ceremony. He shared an early-morning Instagram photo of the countryside sunrise, suggesting he was focusing on the moment rather than the ongoing fallout. Earlier reports claimed his mother Caroline had considered turning up uninvited, but later decided against it, saying she did not want to “spoil his big day”.

Sources say the family rift began back in November after Caroline was not invited to Holly’s hen party, with tensions escalating during the couple’s engagement celebrations — which were filmed for Gordon’s upcoming Netflix documentary. Guests were reportedly asked to sign non-disclosure agreements and surrender their phones, adding to the strain between the two families.
Further controversy has surrounded the wedding itself after locals criticised the decision to close Bath Abbey to the public for the entire day, even though the ceremony is said to last just 90 minutes. Security is reportedly in place to block tourists and prevent photos, prompting accusations that the move was “selfish”.
Yet for Gordon, none of the noise appears to matter. His focus remains firmly on his daughter, her happiness, and the moment he officially welcomes Adam into the Ramsay family — a proud father choosing love and unity on a day filled with both celebration and controversy.
