Adam Peaty appeared to snub his mother’s milestone 60th birthday as he jetted off to Finland for a festive getaway with fiancée Holly Ramsay and his young son, just days before their Christmas wedding.
The Olympic swimming champion, 30, travelled to snowy Scandinavia with Holly, 25, and his five-year-old son George, whom he shares with ex-partner Eiri Munro, as they enjoyed a pre-wedding break ahead of their lavish nuptials on December 27 at Bath’s Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.

But while Peaty shared a stream of joyful holiday snaps on Instagram, there was a striking omission — no mention of his mother Caroline, whose 60th birthday fell on the very same day.
The absence did not go unnoticed. Caroline shared birthday tributes from other family members online, including a card addressed to “mom” from “the Peaty family”, a detail that appeared to underline Adam’s silence during her personal milestone.

The strained relationship comes amid an increasingly toxic family feud that erupted in November, after Caroline was reportedly excluded from Holly Ramsay’s hen party. The row later escalated to the point where Caroline was barred from attending her son’s upcoming wedding.
While Peaty focused on family fun in Finland — sledding through deep snow, marvelling at the Northern Lights and watching George try out a miniature snowmobile — Caroline marked her birthday surrounded by messages celebrating her resilience.
One heartfelt tribute read: “Happy 60th birthday to one of the strongest women I’ve ever met… thank you for everything you’ve done for us and the boys.” Another praised her unwavering support through “the good and the bad” over nearly two decades.
Earlier this week, Caroline admitted the past year had been among the toughest of her life, writing candidly on Instagram: “This year, I met the most broken version of myself but also the strongest. 2026, get ready, because I’m coming back stronger than ever.”

The family rift has since deepened further. Caroline is reportedly demanding that Netflix remove her from Gordon Ramsay’s upcoming documentary Being Gordon Ramsay, accusing the production of attempting to “cash in” on her pain.
According to a source, Caroline and her husband Mark have issued a cease-and-desist letter, insisting they do not want their personal anguish used to promote the series. “Enough damage has already been done,” the insider claimed. “They feel devastated.”
A spokesperson for the Ramsay family, however, insisted Adam’s relatives had attended the engagement party and were aware it was being filmed.
As Peaty counts down to his Christmas wedding, the silence between mother and son continues to cast a long shadow over what should be one of the happiest moments of his life.
