Age 92, But Outshining Everyone: Joan Collins’ Gold-Split Gown Leaves London Speechless — and Percy’s Reaction Says Everything. “If He D.i.e.s, He D.i.e.s”: Joan Collins Drops Her Wildest Age-Gap Line Yet as She Dominates The Shooting Star Ball

Dame Joan Collins proved once again that glamour has no age limit as she lit up the red carpet at The Shooting Star Ball in London alongside her husband Percy Gibson. At 92, the iconic Dynasty actress stunned guests and photographers with a radiant gold off-the-shoulder sequin gown featuring a thigh-high split, teamed with metallic stilettos, a bold gold bangle and statement drop earrings.

Joan and Percy, 60, who have been married since 2002, looked effortlessly elegant as they arrived arm-in-arm. The Hollywood producer—more than 30 years her junior—smiled proudly beside his wife, while Joan laughed that she never worries about their age gap and has often joked in interviews: “If he dies, he dies.”

The charity ball, held in support of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, attracted a glittering crowd. Frida Redknapp, 41, wife of football legend Jamie Redknapp, turned heads in a fringed off-the-shoulder midi dress with a dramatic thigh split, pairing her look with black stilettos, a leather clutch and silver jewellery.

Actress Michelle Collins arrived in a striking one-shoulder black gown, accessorised with a large gold choker and a metallic bangle, while Maureen Lipman chose a shimmering purple longline coat and matching scarf as she walked the carpet with her fiancé, David Turner.

Joan, who is a mother of three, has lived through immense emotional trials. Her daughter Katy, now 53, survived a near-fatal road accident at age eight and spent 47 days in a coma. She later recovered fully from a serious fall in 2012 that left her with a broken eye socket.

Percy, best known for producing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, remains the longest-lasting of Joan’s husbands. Their love story has outlived all four of her previous marriages combined—something Joan once teased Jonathan Ross about, saying their marriage has “lasted as long as all the others put together.”

Still glowing, still playful, and still effortlessly glamorous, Dame Joan showed that she remains the undisputed queen of the red carpet.
