Good Morning Britain star Charlotte Hawkins left viewers stunned during Friday’s broadcast (May 17) as the team celebrated her 50th birthday live on air — though many fans refused to believe it.
Hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway paused the show to surprise Charlotte with a nostalgic tribute, including adorable childhood snaps and modelling shots from her university days. One black-and-white photo even prompted Kate to mistake her for Marilyn Monroe.
“This is unbelievable,” Kate said. “I still can’t believe she’s 50 — I think it’s a lie!”
Charlotte laughed off the surprise and revealed that even her young daughter keeps reminding her she’s “hit the big five-oh.” But it was a vintage clip of Charlotte from her early career that caused the biggest stir — with Adil blurting out: “You look older there! Like 63!”
