Paris Fury has spoken candidly about her daughter Venezuela’s surprise engagement at just 16, saying she believes her husband Tyson Fury will be overcome with emotion on her wedding day.
The mum-of-seven revealed that their daughter’s fiancé, young boxer Noah Price, had followed tradition by asking Tyson for permission to propose. “He asked Tyson at her 16th birthday, just before he proposed,” Paris shared. “I didn’t get involved, but I had a feeling it might happen. It’s an old-fashioned thing – Tyson asked my dad before proposing to me, and we’ve always valued that.”

Speaking at the launch of her new product, Eternal Collagen, in London, Paris said: “I think Tyson will get teary and emotional giving Venezuela away. He might be strong, but underneath he’s softer than I am. If he’s feeling the love that day, he’ll be bawling. She’s our daughter, and hopefully it’s not too soon – we want her to enjoy her engagement.”
Paris added that while Venezuela is still very young, she and Tyson fully support her decision. “Venezuela is only 16, but she’s happy. She’s mature for her years, she’s helped bring up six younger siblings, she’s done photo shoots, interviews, and social media work. I can’t deny her this choice because I was 17 when I got engaged. She’s following in my footsteps, and if she’s happy, I’ll support her completely.”

Explaining their cultural background, Paris said: “In the traveller community, it’s traditional to marry young. Fifty years ago, people in England did the same. I’ve given Venezuela every option in life, and this is what she’s chosen – she’s an independent young woman who makes her own decisions.”

When asked whether Venezuela’s wedding will mirror her parents’ lavish celebrations – after Paris and Tyson renewed their vows three times – Paris laughed: “She wasn’t keen on our third wedding! She said she’d like to keep hers small. She’s just enjoying this moment, she’s not in a rush.”
