Stephen Mulhern Returns Solo for ‘You Bet! On Tour’ After Holly Willoughby Exit
ITV’s hit game show You Bet! is back — but this time with a twist and without Holly Willoughby. The network confirmed that the new series will air later this year, with Stephen Mulhern taking the reins alone as the show hits the road for the first time.
Originally brought back to screens by the dynamic duo of Holly and Stephen, You Bet! became an instant success with audiences. But due to scheduling conflicts, Holly has stepped back from the show. ITV says she may return as a guest panellist in a future episode.
The upcoming series, now rebranded as You Bet! On Tour, will feature seven episodes including a Christmas special — all filmed at different locations across the UK. ITV teased that “freed from the restrictions of the studio, our epic challenges are about to get a whole lot bigger.”
Each episode will see celebrities guessing whether members of the public can complete wild and daring stunts. The celebrity with the most correct guesses wins £5,000 for their chosen charity.
The show’s comeback follows the recent cancellation of Dancing on Ice, where Holly and Stephen previously worked together. ITV confirmed that the long-running skating competition will be “rested” after its 2025 season, with no plans for a 2026 revival.
Fans of You Bet! can expect high energy, wild new challenges, and a very solo Stephen Mulhern steering the ship — all while Holly takes a break from full-time TV duties.
