Nick Ferrari has revealed exciting details about his upcoming wedding, and it left This Morning co-host Alison Hammond fuming with mock disappointment.
The 66-year-old LBC radio presenter made the surprise announcement during Friday’s episode of the ITV show, confirming that he and his fiancée, Clare Patterson, will be tying the knot later this year — in none other than the South of France.

Nick, who’s been with Clare for a decade, had earlier revealed their engagement following a magical Christmas together. “We’d been to Lapland, and it was incredible,” he shared. “Then in the South of France, at our favourite restaurant, I popped the question after ten years together.”
He added that Clare even got involved in designing her engagement ring, though he joked that the original proposal included a trip to a DIY store where he got down on one knee — asking for a screwdriver. Eventually, he did buy a “decent ring” from a local shop.
During a discussion about wedding plans and bridal parties, Alison jokingly asked how many weddings Nick had under his belt. “A couple,” he admitted, before adding cheekily, “You don’t know how many friends you’ve got until you say you’re getting married in the South of France. Suddenly, everyone’s your best mate!”
Ashley James, also on the panel, laughed, saying she hadn’t “made the cut,” prompting Alison to exclaim: “I haven’t either – I’m devastated!”
Nick first revealed his engagement in January, declaring on air: “I know the nation’s heart is breaking, but I have to share that I’m engaged to be wed to Clare.”
