Taylor Ward has revealed she is expecting her second child with football star husband Riyad Mahrez, sharing the joyful news in a tender video with her 2.8 million Instagram followers.
The 27-year-old influencer and daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward glowed as she showed off her growing baby bump in unbuttoned jeans, while husband Riyad gently cradled her stomach and their daughter Mila, two, looked on in excitement.
Already a blended family, Riyad is also father to daughters Ayla and Inaya from his previous marriage to model Rita Johal. Now, the couple’s household is set to grow even more.
Fans rushed to congratulate the family after the touching announcement, which also featured polaroid snaps of the baby scan and warm hugs from big sister-to-be Mila.
Taylor had previously expressed her hopes of expanding the family, saying she wasn’t finished having kids. “I used to think one was enough, but now Mila’s older, I feel ready for more. I think four or five children would be perfect.”
Alongside the pregnancy, Taylor recently underwent breast implant removal surgery, sharing that she wanted to feel more modest and comfortable ahead of her wedding. She explained the implants were out of proportion and prevented her from breastfeeding. The surgery, she admitted, was a carefully considered and emotional decision.
Having relocated to Saudi Arabia two years ago following Mahrez’s £30 million transfer to Al-Ahli, the couple have embraced a long-distance rhythm. But Taylor says the space strengthens their bond: “Absence makes the heart grow fonder. When we reunite, it reminds me of everything I love about him.”
Despite being married to a football star, Taylor says their home life remains grounded. “We don’t talk about football much,” she said. “When he comes home, it’s family time.”
