Susanna Reid turned Good Morning Britain into glorious live TV chaos after pouring a bright red smoothie over her own head in front of stunned viewers.
The 55-year-old presenter took part in the Smoothie Challenge alongside Ed Balls after Made In Chelsea star Sam Vanderpump appeared on the show to raise awareness for organ donation.
The challenge is simple: drink a smoothie in nine seconds or pour whatever is left over your head. The nine-second rule carries a powerful meaning, highlighting that one organ donor can save up to nine lives.

Ed managed to finish his drink just in time, but Susanna barely got through hers. Realising she had lost, she laughed, lifted the glass and tipped the sticky smoothie straight over her head as Ed burst out laughing beside her.
Viewers watched as the red drink ran down Susanna’s hair, face and dress, leaving the studio in hysterics. Fans quickly praised her online, with one saying: “What a good sport Susanna is!” Another wrote: “Such a good cause, well done Susanna!”

Sam, 28, was seen clapping and laughing as Susanna embraced the messy moment to support his campaign. The reality star, who was born with liver disease, has revealed he may not survive five years without a liver transplant.
His emotional journey has recently been shown in Made in Chelsea: Sam Vanderpump’s Story, which follows Sam and his wife Alice as they face the reality of waiting for a life-saving transplant.
What began as a hilarious live TV mishap became a moving reminder of why organ donation can change — and save — lives.
