TV favourite Stacey Solomon has shared a deeply emotional update about her beloved dog Teddy, who continues to battle serious health complications following surgery earlier this year. The 35-year-old presenter revealed that Teddy, once full of life, is now likely to remain partially paralysed for the rest of his life.

In April, Stacey shocked fans by announcing that Teddy had suddenly fallen ill. Vets discovered a previously unknown “predisposed condition,” and emergency surgery was performed. While Teddy survived the operation, Stacey was open about the uncertainty of his future, warning followers that he “might not ever fully recover.”
Weeks on, she’s confirmed their worst fears. In a recent post, Stacey wrote: “It looks likely that Teddy will never get the feeling back in his legs & will need our help with urinating & assisted walks and physio forever.” Despite the heartache, she shared that the vets were impressed by how happy Teddy remained and how committed she and husband Joe Swash have been to his care.

“Teddy is our family,” Stacey wrote. “We’re devastated. He’s the sweetest, most protective, loving dog. And far too young to be going through this.”
She concluded her message with hope and dedication: “I feel sad for Teddy but I’m also confident that me and Joe can give him the happiest life & all the love he deserves. This new journey is forever. But we love Teddy so much, we will just keep going & do our best.”
Fans have praised Stacey’s honesty and strength, flooding her with messages of support as she navigates this emotional chapter — one marked by pain, perseverance, and unconditional love.
