Ellie Goulding has gone public with her new romance, confirming she’s dating US actor Beau Minniear.
The 38-year-old singer, known for hits such as Burn and Love Me Like You Do, was spotted strolling through London with the 28-year-old actor, who kept a protective hand on her waist during their walk.
The Sun first revealed in July that the pair had been quietly dating for months, with fans piecing together clues from their social media posts. Ellie had shared a clip in Italy stroking a man’s arm, and eagle-eyed followers noticed the watch matched one Beau regularly wears. Just last week, both shared photos from the same luxury hotel in Florence.
A source told The Sun: “Ellie is into Beau and they have a lot of shared interests like exercise and art. They’ve been having fun together and they certainly make for an attractive couple.”
The couple made their public debut sitting ringside at Wembley Stadium for the world heavyweight boxing clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois.
Beau, who has had small acting roles in films and US TV, is ten years younger than Ellie. The singer is believed to have met him earlier this year, following the breakdown of her marriage to art dealer Caspar Jopling, 33.
Ellie and Caspar, who wed in a lavish ceremony at York Minster in 2019 attended by Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, share a son, Arthur, born in 2021. Despite their split, friends say the former couple remain close and co-parent their child.
In February last year, Ellie was seen kissing a surf instructor in Costa Rica, which many saw as the clearest sign her marriage was over. A source close to the singer later confirmed she and Caspar had “decided to call time on their relationship some time ago,” though they remain best friends.
Now, Ellie seems ready for a fresh chapter – and her romance with Beau marks her first serious relationship since her separation.
