Emma Willis Makes Surprise Return to This Morning After 11 Years — Joins Rylan Clark for Special VE Day Episode
This Morning is bringing a wave of nostalgia to ITV viewers this Bank Holiday, as Emma Willis makes an unexpected return to the show — 11 years after she last held a regular role. The former Big Brother host, now 49, is back alongside Rylan Clark to present a special VE Day Street Party episode, commemorating 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.
While Emma has occasionally guest-presented on the programme over the years, her last permanent role was in 2012 when she hosted The Hub, a popular interactive segment. She held that position until 2014, when it was ultimately axed.

Today’s episode marks a major shake-up in the hosting line-up and also sees Rylan Clark return to the sofa for the first time in almost a year. The duo, both fan favourites, have worked together before and are expected to bring an energetic and heartfelt vibe to the VE Day celebration episode.
This Morning teased the news on Instagram, writing: “Rylan and Emma are throwing a VE Day Street Party and you’re invited!”
Their return comes just days after another emotional moment on the show, when 103-year-old beauty influencer Joan Patridge appeared and brought viewers — and hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond — to tears with her inspiring story.
With viewers already buzzing on social media, many praised ITV’s decision to bring back Emma. One fan posted: “Emma Willis back on This Morning? Yes, please! She and Rylan are a dream team.”
