Just weeks earlier, Alex had made the decision to leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! early, breaking from the usual process to fly home from Australia and support Jess after her mother suffered a major stroke that required brain surgery. At the time, Jess explained she was unable to travel to Australia for the traditional jungle reunion because her family needed her close.
Following Alex’s early exit as the first celebrity voted out of the jungle, the pair were soon reunited in the UK, sharing a quiet coffee date that Jess marked on Instagram with a red heart emoji.
