Pete Wicks has found himself at the centre of a storm after being spotted kissing a mystery blonde in London just days before he went public with Strictly star Jowita Przystał.
The former TOWIE favourite, 36, was seen enjoying a lavish dinner at The Maine Mayfair with an unidentified woman earlier this week, where onlookers claimed they behaved “like teenagers in love”. One diner revealed: “They were intimate the whole time. You would think they were alone. At one point they even disappeared for 15 minutes in the middle of dinner.”
Yet only a few nights later, Wicks stunned fans when he shared three passionate kisses with Jowita on stage at the O2 Arena during a live version of his podcast with best friend Sam Thompson. The pair performed what would have been their Strictly Showdance, confirming their romance in front of a sold-out audience.
Sources have since confirmed that Pete and Jowita are “officially dating” after growing close on Strictly Come Dancing. An insider explained: “They kept things professional on the show, but once Pete was single they reconnected and the relationship has blossomed into something more. You could tell by their routine – it was extremely raunchy and dance partners don’t usually kiss like that.”
Adding fuel to the speculation, Pete had already sparked attention last month when he posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to Jowita, writing: “It was never about dancing… it was about the person. I am so blessed and grateful to have you in my life.”
The romance confirmation also comes after Pete’s brief links with Maura Higgins, which ended earlier this year. Maura has since made headlines herself after being spotted kissing McFly’s Danny Jones at the BRIT Awards – drama Pete reportedly “couldn’t care less about”.
For now, the tattooed reality star seems focused on his new relationship – even if questions linger about the timing of his dinner date with the mystery blonde.
