Prince Louis Has the Last Laugh with Cheeky Hair Flick That Leaves George Red-Faced

Prince Louis brought some much-needed laughter to the solemn VE Day commemorations as he cheekily teased older brother Prince George—leaving royal fans delighted. During the military parade at Buckingham Palace, held to honour 80 years since the end of World War II in Europe, the seven-year-old royal was caught on camera playfully flicking his own hair just moments after George brushed his fringe aside.

The light-hearted moment happened while the Wales family sat among war veterans, showing their support and engaging in respectful conversations. While Prince William shook hands and Kate chatted with service members, their three children—George, Charlotte, and Louis—observed the procession, listened to stories, and took part in greetings.

But it was Louis’ subtle imitation of George that truly charmed onlookers. As his big brother swept his hair from his face, Louis quickly mimicked the motion with exaggerated flair, in a gentle, sibling-style tease that many saw as a nod to their playful bond.

Earlier in the event, Louis also melted hearts by brushing lint off his father’s RAF uniform jacket—just as the Prince of Wales explained the military formation to him. The royal youngster’s blend of cheeky charm and quiet respect once again showed why he’s become a crowd favourite.

Even as light rain fell and umbrellas popped up across the parade, Louis kept spirits high with his curious expressions and spontaneous antics, while King Charles wrapped a blanket around a veteran to keep them warm.

Despite heavy news surrounding the Royal Family in recent days, the young Wales children, particularly Louis, reminded the public of the next generation’s warmth, humour, and sense of duty—bringing a sweet and uplifting energy to a historic and emotional occasion.
