Michelle Keegan has shared an emotional message as she bids farewell to Brassic, the beloved show that has defined much of her career for the past seven years.
Having recently welcomed her first child, baby Palma, with husband Mark Wright, Michelle briefly returned to work post-birth to complete filming on the final season of the hit Sky and Netflix series. And now, with the cameras officially stopped rolling, the actress has taken a moment to reflect on the end of an era.

Posting on Instagram, Michelle wrote: “Goodbye Erin. So finally the Brassic journey has come to an end (feels so strange saying that), and what an unbelievable seven years it has been. I feel so privileged to have been a small part of such a mighty show.”
Michelle has played Erin Croft since the show’s very first episode, becoming a fan favourite as the strong-willed and fiercely loyal single mum navigating life in the chaotic, fictional town of Hawley.
She continued in her tribute: “From the moment I read the first script I knew this job was going to be special. And it definitely was. Thank you to everyone who worked on the show over the years for the laughs, friendship and more importantly, the memories. What a magical seven years we had.”

The announcement has left fans heartbroken, especially as the sixth season ended on a nail-biting cliffhanger. With season seven confirmed as the last, many viewers are preparing for an emotional goodbye.
“I’m gutted. Thank you for giving us Erin – she’s one of the best female characters on TV,” one fan commented.
Another added: “It’s the end of an era. Watching Brassic every year was a joy. You’ll be missed on screen, Michelle.”
While Michelle’s chapter as Erin may be ending, it’s clear her impact on the show – and in fans’ hearts – will last far beyond the final credits.
