Romeo Beckham proved that style truly runs in the family as he stepped out in a striking all-white ensemble at Gucci’s fall-winter 2026 show during Milan Fashion Week — and the resemblance to his father’s mid-noughties fashion era was impossible to ignore.
The 23-year-old model made a front-row appearance at Palazzo Delle Scintille, where the Italian powerhouse unveiled its latest womenswear collection. Dressed in a collarless white jacket layered over a simple vest and paired with loose, lightweight trousers, Romeo looked every inch the modern heir to David Beckham’s fashion throne.

The look immediately conjured memories of David Beckham in his early 2000s heyday — particularly his coordinated white ensembles from the 2003 MTV Awards in Los Angeles. Like father, like son.
Seated among an A-list crowd, Romeo rubbed shoulders with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes and fashion royalty Donatella Versace as he watched the show unfold. His appearance came just four days after he walked the runway himself for Burberry at London Fashion Week — cementing his growing status in the fashion world.

The Gucci catwalk was nothing short of star-studded. Supermodel Kate Moss, 52, commanded attention in a daring backless dress featuring a cheeky thong detail — a nod to Gucci’s now-cult branded design first introduced by Tom Ford in 1997. Hollywood icon Demi Moore, 63, debuted a chic wavy bob and was joined, as tradition dictates, by her tiny Chihuahua Pilaf in the FROW. Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkowski dazzled in a skintight glittering silver gown that showcased her toned figure.

For the Beckham family, Gucci carries history — and a little controversy. In 1999, David and Victoria Beckham famously attended a Versace dinner in matching black leather Gucci outfits, a moment that has followed them ever since.
Reflecting on the divisive look during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in 2022, Victoria admitted: “I mean it haunts me. It does haunt me, but I love it.” She added: “It was hot. We were wearing Gucci. It was a Versace dinner, which is inappropriate in itself. But, you know, we really considered those outfits. I mean we really talked about it. There was a naivete to it that was just so sweet.”

She later elaborated in Vogue Visionaries: “Myself and David turning up to a Versace event in matching Gucci leather […] wearing the wrong designer, but you know, owning it. Back then, I didn’t know any better. I didn’t know the fashion industry. So there was something so sweet and naive about the fact I didn’t care. I just expressed myself in that way.”
Now, more than two decades later, it seems Romeo is confidently writing his own chapter — while still tipping his hat to one of the most talked-about style legacies in British pop culture.
