Katie Price is under fire again after publicly commenting on her ex-husband Peter Andre and his wife of 10 years, Emily MacDonagh – prompting a wave of online fury and a source close to Peter urging Katie to finally “leave the past in the past.”

Speaking on Katherine Ryan’s podcast, the 47-year-old former glamour model reflected on her past with Peter, saying their daughter Princess “can’t believe” they were ever a couple because she and Emily are “just so different.”
Katie claimed she once told her daughter, “I was with your dad for six years – we had so much fun.” She added that Princess was surprised by the dynamic between Peter and Emily, implying that their current family setup lacks the “banter” she once had with him.

But her words didn’t go over well online. Critics flooded social media, accusing her of jealousy and clinging to the past. Comments ranged from “get a grip and move on” to “she’s clearly not over him.” Others defended her, suggesting Peter may have been the “one who got away.”
A source close to Peter told The Mirror: “He’s fed up. It’s been 16 years, and he’s tired of her dragging up the past. It’s not just affecting him anymore – it’s impacting Emily and their family too.”

Katie and Peter, who split in 2009, share two children: Junior, now 20, and Princess, who turns 18 at the end of June. Katie has also stirred controversy for talking to Princess about joining OnlyFans or launching an AI version of herself – ideas that a source insists Princess has no interest in.
Meanwhile, Peter is focused on supporting his children’s ambitions without pressure. “He just wants peace,” the source added.

Psychologist Dr Lalitaa Suglani weighed in, warning that publicly revisiting past pain can hinder healing. “Closure must come from within, not from reopening old wounds,” she said.
Despite moving on with Married at First Sight UK star JJ Slater, Katie’s continued commentary on Peter seems to be reopening old chapters – chapters Peter insists should stay closed.
