Katie Price reveals daughter Princess had therapy after losing weight – insists she’s always unfairly blamed: “It’s got nothing to do with me, it was down to Andre and Emily”

Katie Price has claimed her daughter Princess Andre received therapy after “losing weight” – and says she’s once again being painted as the villain.

Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, the 47-year-old former glamour model revealed that it was her ex-husband Peter Andre who arranged the therapy sessions. “I know that Pete got her therapy because she was losing weight or something. But of course I’ll get the blame for that, because I always do,” Katie said, adding that speculation linking it to her split from ex-husband Kieran Hayler was wrong.

She explained: “Yes, there was turbulence between me and Kieran. But Princess didn’t have therapy because of that. When she had therapy before, after the 2018 carjacking in South Africa, it was Emily and Pete who pushed for it – nothing to do with me splitting from Kieran.”

Peter Andre himself addressed concerns about Princess’ weight back in 2016 during an appearance on Loose Women, admitting he would “weigh them” because he wanted his children, Princess and Junior, to “put on weight.” He shared that a school friend once told Princess she was overweight when she was actually “very thin,” which worried him.

The latest revelation comes amid renewed tension between Katie and Peter, who share Princess and Junior. Princess recently signed with Peter’s management company, CAN Group, a move Katie says she wasn’t consulted on. She also claimed the company “thinks she’s trash” after cutting ties with her following her split from Peter in 2009.

Last month, Katie accused the same management firm of stopping her from attending Princess’ 18th birthday party, calling it “pathetic” and “sad.”

Despite media reports claiming there’s a rift between her and Princess – fuelled by suggestions she was “banned” from her daughter’s new reality TV show – Katie insisted that’s not the case. “Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument or a disagreement. We get on like best friends, mother and daughter,” she said, while taking a swipe at Peter and his wife Emily’s role in the TV project. “Whatever happens, it’s always my fault. I’m always the baddie. But just remember, we’ve got proof of everything.”
