Katie Price ignores missiles, family fears and scam concerns to once again fly to Dubai to see the husband she still doesn’t truly know

Katie Price has once again proved she is willing to ignore both family warnings and fears over unrest in the Middle East as she boarded a flight to Dubai to reunite with her new husband, Lee Andrews.

The former glamour model, 47, was spotted at Gatwick Airport late on Monday night, looking relaxed and upbeat despite growing travel disruption linked to the worsening situation involving Iran. Reports of drone attacks and missile chaos in the region have caused major concern for passengers, yet Katie appeared determined not to let the danger stand in the way of her latest trip.

Dressed casually in a polka-dot tracksuit top and leggings, Katie was seen smiling as she checked in her luggage and prepared to fly out. Her calm airport appearance came even as flights to Dubai have been affected by the uncertainty in the region, with British Airways suspending services there until June because of what it described as the “uncertainty of the situation in the Middle East”.

Still, Katie’s focus appeared to be firmly on seeing Lee again.

Her latest dash to Dubai also comes as concern continues to mount among those closest to her. Friends and family are said to be deeply uneasy about her whirlwind romance and sudden marriage to Lee, with some reportedly fearing she is being taken advantage of because of her fame and money.

The relationship has already sparked controversy, with Lee’s former partners Alana and Crystal Janke allegedly accusing him of misleading women and painting a troubling picture of his past. Those claims have only fuelled fears among Katie’s inner circle, many of whom reportedly believe the marriage could turn out to be a serious mistake.

Yet Katie has remained defiant.

Just a day before her flight, she appeared on Good Morning Britain and defended both her relationship and the speed of her decision to marry Lee. In the interview, she admitted that her husband has still not met her children in person — including Princess Andre, Junior Andre, Harvey Price and the two children she shares with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

In a confession that raised eyebrows, Katie explained that she still wants “to get to know him more” before properly introducing him to the children face-to-face, even though they are already married. She said the children have spoken to Lee over FaceTime, but made clear that, for her, that is not the same as real life.

When asked whether that was really enough, Katie openly admitted it was not. She said she would not be introducing him to the children yet because she wants to understand him better herself. She also addressed the criticism over the speed of the marriage, saying people struggle to understand why she married him so quickly, but insisted that when they got engaged, “it just felt right, so why not get married?”

Lee, now Katie’s fourth husband, proposed on January 23 and the pair tied the knot in Dubai just 48 hours later, making their romance one of the fastest-moving chapters in the star’s turbulent love life.

Katie has also strongly pushed back against accusations surrounding her new man. Speaking previously, she insisted, “I can reassure everyone at home that I haven’t gone for a con man. I haven’t gone for a scammer.” She also dismissed suggestions she had been manipulated, adding, “There was no love bombing. I’ve gone for a beautiful human being who genuinely makes me happy, who I’m so in love with.”

For now, it seems neither missiles, cancelled flights, public scrutiny nor private family concerns are enough to make Katie slow down. As the controversy around her new marriage continues to grow, she is once again heading straight back to Dubai — and straight back to Lee.
