Katie Price has been spotted in public for the first time since opening up about fresh health fears, admitting she is undergoing medical tests amid concerns her cancer could return.
The 47-year-old former glamour model appeared visibly frail as she stepped out in a grey vest and trousers, with a black hoodie tied around her waist. Photographs showed red bruising around her ear and under one eye – the result of a recent facelift – but it was her latest health revelations that truly shocked fans.
Speaking on The Katie Price Show podcast alongside her sister Sophie, Katie confessed she has been suffering from persistent symptoms that have raised fears her rare cancer may have returned. She recalled: “When I was pregnant with Harvey, I had a type of cancer called leiomyosarcoma on my finger. I had it cut out twice, and I used to have MRI scans for six years until I was clear. Now the same finger has started hurting again. It’s been like that for three weeks, so I’m going to get it X-rayed. I hope it’s not coming back.”
Katie also revealed worrying results from recent blood tests, admitting: “I’ve got really low platelets. It’s not iron, like I thought, and it could explain why I’ve become thinner. I feel tired, no energy. The doctors said I might even need a blood transfusion to get my levels back up.”
She admitted she fears receiving “bad news,” explaining, “Normally in my life something good happens and then something bad happens. Let’s hope this isn’t bad.”
The star recently cancelled a Pride event just hours before she was due to appear, leaving fans and organisers disappointed.
