Katie Price Calls Dane Bowers the ‘Love of Her Life’ as She Reveals Their Romance Soundtrack and Admits: ‘I Loved Dane’

Katie Price has made a heartfelt confession about former boyfriend Dane Bowers, describing the Another Level singer as the “love of her life” and suggesting he may have been the man who got away.

The revelation comes in a preview of her new Sky documentary series, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which premieres on July 8.

Katie and Dane enjoyed a high-profile romance between 1998 and 2000, during the height of her modelling fame. More than two decades later, the former glamour model appears to still hold deep affection for the singer.

Speaking in the documentary, Katie smiled as she reflected on their relationship and said: “Dane Bowers! I used to adore his songs. Why am I grinning? He was the love of my life. Did you tell him that?”

Looking back on how they first met at a film premiere, she recalled: “We just locked eyes.”

Katie added: “And yes, he might have been the chubby one, but looks aren’t everything. I started chatting to him and thought, ‘I fancy you.'”

She fondly remembered how easy their relationship felt in the beginning.

“From the outset, everything went smoothly. I remember adoring his music.”

The television personality also shared that the couple had a special soundtrack to their romance, revealing: “We always used to play Boyz II Men and make love. He was quite cocky but very attentive to me.”

Reflecting on their chemistry, she added: “I just recall when we kissed, it was amazing. I loved Dane. Yes, I did.”

Dane himself appears in the documentary, which features emotional reunions and unexpected conversations with figures from Katie’s past.

Last year, the singer admitted that he was responsible for the breakdown of their relationship. Speaking on The Shizzio Show podcast, he confessed: “Why it actually ended… was really me being a bit of a d**k in terms of insecurities.”

He explained that he struggled with Katie’s glamour modelling career and admitted he reacted badly when she decided to return to topless shoots.

“Which was wrong because that was her job. And I knew that was her job,” he acknowledged.

Katie’s emotional reflections come during a turbulent period in her personal life. She is currently married to businessman Lee Andrews, who remains in custody in Dubai amid fraud allegations.

The former model has publicly insisted she will not hand over money to secure his release, saying: “I’ve made it clear to Lee, I will never give him money. I’ll never give a man money. I’ve done it all my life, I’ve always been the breadwinner.”

As concerns continue to surround her marriage and family members reportedly worry about her wellbeing, Katie’s candid documentary promises to revisit the loves, heartbreaks and life-changing moments that have defined her extraordinary journey.
