Just hours after completing the London Half Marathon, Jo Whiley pulled off one of the most jaw-dropping transformations of the night as she stepped onto the red carpet at the Olivier Awards.
The 60-year-old DJ had barely recovered from her 13.1-mile run before swapping her trainers for glamorous heels and heading straight to the prestigious ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.
Looking nothing short of sensational, Jo turned heads in a flowing orange halterneck gown that perfectly showcased her incredibly toned arms — a striking reminder of the endurance feat she had completed just hours earlier.
Earlier in the day, Jo gave fans a glimpse into her marathon journey, sharing moments from the race on Instagram. She revealed she had been joined by fellow broadcaster Clara Amfo, with the pair powering through the course together.
After crossing the finish line, Jo proudly showed off her medal, even flexing her muscles in a playful snap — capturing a mix of exhaustion, pride and pure adrenaline.
But there was no time to rest.
Instead, Jo transitioned seamlessly from athlete to red carpet star, arriving at one of the biggest nights in British theatre looking radiant, energised, and completely unfazed by the physical challenge she had just conquered.
The star-studded evening, hosted by Nick Mohammed, celebrated the very best of UK theatre, with major productions and performances taking centre stage.
Paddington The Musical dominated the night, securing an impressive seven wins from 11 nominations, including Best New Musical and Best Director.
Meanwhile, Into the Woods picked up awards for Best Lighting Design and Best Musical Revival, while All My Sons triumphed in the Best Revival and Best Supporting Actor categories.
Rosamund Pike was crowned Best Actress for her role in Inter Alia, describing her return to theatre after 14 years as a “huge, exhilarating risk.” She admitted that performing with her own words made the experience far more nerve-wracking than delivering scripted lines.
Elsewhere, Rachel Zegler took home Best Actress in a Musical for Evita, while Jack Holden secured Best Actor for his gripping one-man performance in Kenrex.
