Katie Price’s love life is once again in the spotlight – but this time it’s her current boyfriend, JJ Slater, who is said to be “terrified” as her ex-husbands Peter Andre and Alex Reid ramp up their war of words against the former glamour model.
Alex Reid, 50, released explosive footage earlier this week showing Katie waving a wad of cash despite her ongoing bankruptcy. In the clip, she asked her daughter Princess if her father, Peter Andre, questioned her about money. When Princess nodded, Katie shot back: “Your dad can sit on that. Does he go on about it a lot? Well, it’s tough because I’m in bankruptcy until next May now.”
At one point, Princess was heard asking whether she should pay for her own school fees. Before raising her middle finger, Katie insisted Peter’s young family with wife Emily was “irrelevant.”
Peter, who was reportedly “disgusted,” slammed the comments. A source close to him said: “He’s so shocked that she would do this in front of their young child and say his young children are irrelevant. It’s not about the money – how could a mother say that about children?”
Meanwhile, JJ – best known from Married At First Sight UK – is said to be shaken by the drama. A friend told The Sun: “JJ always knew it wouldn’t be a quiet life with Katie, but the recent attacks from her exes have rocked the boat. It’s made him worry about their future and caused a lot of tension.” Friends are now warning him to “get out before it’s too late.”
Katie, 47, has reportedly been blindsided by Alex’s bombshell release but is not planning to retaliate immediately. Instead, she is said to be “biding her time” and has already taken legal advice.
Alex, in a fiery statement, declared: “Over the years you’ve seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter, Keiran and others. Today I want to be clear. I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn’t about gossip but evidence. It’s not about rumour, it’s about reality. After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all.”
Katie later responded through her representative, insisting: “This video was already handed to Katie’s Trustee in Bankruptcy months ago, and she has fully complied with the investigations.”
