Jeff Brazier Ends Legal Battle Against Jade Goody’s Mum Jackiey Budden As Family Truce Brings Sons Freddy and Bobby Back Together

Jeff Brazier has reportedly called off his legal action against Jackiey Budden, the mother of his late ex-partner Jade Goody, after reaching a fragile but much-needed truce within the family.

The TV presenter had been planning to block his youngest son Freddy, 20, from seeing Jackiey, citing long-standing concerns over her influence on the young man. But now it appears peace has been restored, with Freddy once again living at Jackiey’s South London flat — while also spending time with both Jeff and his older brother Bobby.

A source told The Sun: “They’ve all made peace for now and are trying to heal. It’s actually the best outcome for everyone, and something Jade would have wished for.”

Just last week, Jeff was spotted smiling alongside both sons at 101 Dalmatians: The Musical at the Eventim Apollo, where he made his West End debut — a clear sign the family bond is being repaired.

Although Jeff and Jackiey are unlikely to become friends, Freddy’s strong loyalty to his grandmother played a role in diffusing the situation. “Freddy was so devoted to her, he was even threatening to leave the UK if Jeff carried on with legal proceedings,” the source added.

Back in June, Jeff had filed court papers in an effort to stop Freddy from visiting Jackiey. However, despite these attempts, Freddy continued to spend time at her Bermondsey flat, where the two reportedly shared quality time playing with her dog and catching up.

Insiders say Freddy and Jackiey have always remained “extremely close,” and no matter Jeff’s personal history with her, he couldn’t break that bond.

Freddy’s emotional struggles also played a part in the family dynamics. Earlier this summer, he revealed he had been smoking since the age of 12 and planned to go to rehab in Spain. But he later changed his mind, saying, “You know what, I don’t need rehab. I just need a holiday with a good group of boys or a retreat.”

Freddy, who tragically lost his mother Jade Goody to cervical cancer at age four, has previously spoken about the lasting impact of her loss. On Celebrity Race Across the World, he reflected, “I don’t really remember being held by my mum… I think I would rather remember those things, even if it made it harder.”
